Education and Support in Home Based Care and Self Care for the Disabled and Elderly

Fiji Red Cross Society provides support and training for the disabled and elderly, and their carers.

The handbook 'Basic Care of Disabled and Elderly' is available free of charge from the National Office, Suva. It provides a basic guide to some of the needs of the elderly and people with disabilities, and describes how these needs can be met. It is aimed primarily at the attending staff or carers of elderly and the disabled.
